
Here is my monthly round up of Books and Bibles I’ve read over the last 30-some days. As always, there will be a short description of the book followed by a clear statement on whether I would recommend it. This month I’m adding a portion of note-worthy articles I’ve read and enjoyed.
Books and Bibles

- Devotedly contains the personal letters of Jim and Elizabeth Elliot from the years 1948 to 1953. The book is written by their daughter Valerie Elliot Shepard. Recommended? Yes.

- A little Book for New Historians is a short and concise work focusing on the “how and why” when it comes to studying history. Recommended? Yes.

- Understanding Scientific Theories of Origins is a textbook covering scientific theories of origins in Christian perspective as well as dealing with some questions regarding the book of Genesis. Recommended? Yes.

- KJV Bride’s Bible is a gift Bible in white for Bride’s or new married couples. Recommended? Yes.

- New City Catechism is a solid catechism which teaches basics of the faith in a simple question and answer format. Recommended? Yes

- New City Catechism for kids is the same as the New City Catechism just more condensed. Recommended? Yes.
